SAP HANA Consultant REMOTE Job in India :

Company is seeking an experienced SAP HANA Consultant to support production environments and ensure optimal performance, stability, and availability of SAP systems. The role involves deep expertise in SAP HANA database administration, troubleshooting complex system issues, and managing high-availability configurations. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently handling system challenges, automating routine tasks, and driving continuous improvements across the SAP landscape.
Key Responsibilities :
• Manage and support SAP HANA database architecture and internal operations
• Configure and maintain HANA System Replication (HSR) and failover with/without SUSE HA cluster
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues related to CPU, memory, blocking, and database performance
• Perform HANA backup and recovery operations ensuring data integrity and system reliability
• Monitor HANA security, and analyze EWA and TPO reports for system optimization
• Diagnose and resolve system issues quickly to minimize downtime in production environments
• Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement preventive measures
• Monitor and tune SAP system performance to ensure high availability and reliability
• Automate routine administrative tasks and system checks to improve efficiency
• Lead and execute SAP run/support team mini-projects independently
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system operations
Key Skills & Qualifications :
• Strong expertise in SAP HANA DB Architecture and internal operations
• Hands-on experience in HANA System Replication (HSR) and SUSE HA cluster setup
• Proficiency in performance tuning, troubleshooting CPU/memory issues, and resolving system bottlenecks
• Experience in HANA backup and recovery strategies
• Knowledge of HANA security concepts, EWA, and TPO reports
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle critical production issues
• Experience in root cause analysis and preventive maintenance
• Ability to monitor and optimize SAP system performance
• Experience in automation of system tasks using scripts/tools
• Capability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
