Company is seeking an experienced Systems Support Engineer (Level 2) to provide advanced technical support for critical enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting complex system issues, ensuring timely resolution, and maintaining system stability across global environments. In this role, you will act as an escalation point for Level 1 support teams and collaborate with network administrators, system analysts, and software engineers to resolve application and infrastructure issues. The position requires strong expertise in database querying, API troubleshooting, and IT Service Management processes to ensure smooth operations and minimize disruptions across enterprise applications.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 support for enterprise systems by analyzing and resolving complex technical issues.
- Act as the escalation point for Level 1 support teams and ensure timely incident resolution.
- Collaborate with network administrators, system analysts, and software engineers to resolve system and application issues.
- Perform Oracle SQL queries for data validation, reporting, and analysis.
- Troubleshoot API issues using REST/SOAP protocols and tools such as Postman.
- Support IT Service Management (ITSM) processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-deployment validation for application releases.
- Participate in daily operational activities and global IT project rollouts.
- Document technical workflows, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Translate technical specifications into business requirements and support cross-team collaboration.
Key Qualifications
Ability to document complex technical processes and workflows clearly.
Experience providing Level 2 application or system support in enterprise environments.
Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and database querying for validation and reporting.
Experience troubleshooting APIs using REST/SOAP protocols and tools like Postman.
Knowledge of IT Service Management processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Experience working in global IT environments and project rollout phases.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
