Role Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Visual Designer who can both design hands-on and lead the graphic design function at EyeLevel. This role goes beyond execution. You’ll set visual direction, raise design standards, mentor designers, and ensure every output from the team is sharp, consistent, and performance-driven. You’ll work closely with the founder, creative lead, copywriters, and growth team shaping how brands look, feel, and perform across touch points.

• Lead the visual design function at EyeLevel across client and internal brands
• Own and define the visual look and feel for assigned accounts across web, social, ads, and campaigns
• Design high-impact visuals yourself—websites, landing pages, social creatives, and ad assets
• Review, guide, and elevate the work of junior and mid-level designers
• Set clear visual standards, processes, and quality benchmarks for the design team
• Build and maintain scalable design systems, brand kits, and reusable components
• Collaborate with the founder and creative lead on brand strategy and creative direction
• Translate campaign strategy, hooks, and offers into strong visual narratives
• Ensure performance-focused thinking in design decisions (CTR, engagement, conversions)
• Prepare clean, developer-ready Figma files and ensure smooth handoffs
• Iterate based on feedback, performance data, and A/B testing insights
• Ensure consistency, polish, and clarity across everything the design team delivers
Must-have skills & experience:
• 4–6+ years of experience as a Visual / UI / Graphic Designer in an agency, startup, or product environment
• Prior experience mentoring, leading, or reviewing other designers’ work
• A strong portfolio showcasing:
• Website and landing page UI (Figma)
• Social media and performance ad creatives
• Brand identities or cohesive visual systems
• Advanced proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, systems, responsive design)
• Strong command of Photoshop and Illustrator (or equivalents)
• Excellent eye for typography, layout, color, and hierarchy
• Ability to convert strategy and briefs into clear visual direction for a team
• Strong communication skills—able to give and receive constructive feedback Nice to have:
• Experience in education, real estate, sports, or lifestyle/D2C brands
• Working knowledge of motion design for reels, ads, and simple animations
• Familiarity with performance marketing concepts and metrics
• Experience collaborating closely with developers or Webflow/Framer/WordPress teams Mindset & culture fit:
