Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle APEX Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Application Express (APEX) and PL/SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end application development, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX)
Develop and optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and APEX APIs
Build and customize APEX components including Interactive Grids, Reports, Forms, Faceted Search, Pages, Regions, and Items
Develop web layout and printable (paper) layout reports in various styles based on business requirements
Implement and manage Authentication and Authorization mechanisms
Create and manage users, roles, and responsibilities within APEX applications
Develop and deploy APEX plug-ins as needed
Integrate applications with APIs and work with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for UI enhancements
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Provide ongoing application support, enhancements, and performance tuning

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX and PL/SQL
Strong experience in Application Development using Oracle APEX, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL
Good understanding of APIs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Solid knowledge of Interactive Grids, Reports, Forms, Faceted Search, Pages, Regions, and Items
Strong understanding of APEX Authentication and Authorization
Experience in plug-in development and deployment
Proficiency across the full SDLC: analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Nice to Have

Experience with performance tuning and optimization in Oracle APEX
Exposure to version control and deployment best practices
Knowledge of Oracle database administration concepts is a plus
