The role involves building and integrating REST APIs, connecting third-party services, working with databases, developing backend functionalities, and writing clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code. The selected candidate will identify and resolve technical issues, troubleshoot bugs, optimise application performance, and collaborate closely with QA engineers, product managers, and other development team members to deliver reliable software features. Responsibilities will also include participating in code reviews, contributing to technical discussions, developing automation scripts and internal tools when required, and following best practices for version control, software testing, technical documentation, and deployment.
