Security Specialist job in Hyderabad India :

Location : Hyderabad, Telangana, India

The Security Specialist working under the Site Security Manager will ensure the protection of people, assets, and operations in the manager’s absence and maintain a safe, professional, and service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
• Assist the Site Security Manager in overseeing all site-specific physical security operations.
• Conduct regular patrols and identify potential incidents, responding promptly to any security breaches.
• Implement and manage access control procedures, ensuring smooth operation at entry/exit points and effective visitor management
• Maintain a professional presence at the main lobby, helping employees and guests as needed.
• Respond to physical disturbances or intrusions such as trespassing, vandalism, or loitering.
• Aid in the deployment and monitoring of CCTV and other electronic security systems
• Support operational activities during onsite events, evacuations, and emergency situations
• Liaise with local emergency services when necessary and assist in maintaining accurate emergency communications
• Keep security documentation up-to-date, including daily reports and incident logs
• Participate in security audits and routine safety reviews, contributing to maintaining compliance with local and corporate security standards
• Manage the security hotline and ensure quick referral of issues following escalation SOPs
• Act as the lead on-site security officer in the Security Manager’s absence
• All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

Graduate with Minimum 5 years experince in corporate or site security role.

• Familiarity with managing security operations and an understanding of access control and surveillance systems.
• Certification or adherence to local/state licensing regulations is preferred.
• Prior experience coordinating with third-party security providers is advantageous.
• Experience with scaling security operations is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
