Company is looking for experienced SAP US Payroll Consultants with strong expertise in SAP HCM, SAP HR, SAP SuccessFactors, and US Payroll processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering end-to-end payroll solutions, supporting global payroll implementations, configuring payroll processes, and ensuring seamless integration with SAP HCM and SuccessFactors modules. This role requires strong functional expertise, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work across large-scale global implementation and support projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end SAP US Payroll implementation and support engagements.
  • Configure and maintain SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors payroll solutions.
  • Analyze, document, and optimize HR and payroll business processes.
  • Design and recommend future-state (“To-Be”) business process solutions.
  • Map business requirements to SAP HCM and SuccessFactors functionalities.
  • Configure and unit test SAP Payroll and related HCM modules.
  • Develop and review functional specifications, configuration workbooks, and design documents.
  • Create test scenarios, test scripts, test cases, and test data.
  • Support SIT, UAT, cutover planning, go-live activities, and hypercare support.
  • Troubleshoot payroll schemas, PCRs, payroll processing issues, and integration errors.
  • Support interface testing, data validation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with US payroll regulations, tax forms, and year-end payroll activities.
  • Lead or support multiple project workstreams and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Manage project risks, issues, change requests, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support knowledge transfer sessions and mentor junior team members.
  • Drive process improvements, innovation initiatives, and operational excellence.
  • Participate in SOW preparation, effort estimation, and resource planning activities.
  • Retrieve and validate employee data from SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  • Coordinate with third-party payroll vendors for payroll and integration-related issues.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in B.E./B.Tech, MCA, MBA, or equivalent qualification.
  • 3–10 years of experience in SAP HCM, SAP HR, or SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in SAP SuccessFactors or SAP HCM implementations.
  • Experience in at least 2 SAP HCM/Payroll implementation projects.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • SAP US Payroll
    • SAP HCM Payroll
    • Personnel Administration (PA)
    • Organizational Management (OM)
    • SAP HR Processes
    • SAP SuccessFactors
  • Experience in payroll configuration and payroll processing.
  • Strong understanding of payroll schemas, PCRs, benefits administration, time management, and OM/PA processes.
  • Experience with interface testing, mapping, validation, and integration support.
  • Knowledge of US payroll tax regulations, tax forms, compliance requirements, and year-end processing activities.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
  • Experience working with large and geographically distributed teams.
  • Ability to lead small teams and manage multiple project priorities
