SAP Functional P2P Job in Pune Hyderabad Bangalore Ahmedabad Indore India :

Company is looking for an experienced SAP P2P Functional Expert to support and enhance end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes across procurement, purchasing, invoice management, and vendor operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in SAP P2P processes, with hands-on experience in solution design, configuration, testing, and process optimization. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical teams to ensure efficient procurement operations and seamless integration with finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and enhance end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes across the organization.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to procurement and purchasing operations.
• Configure and support SAP P2P functionalities including:
  • Purchase Requisitions
  • Purchase Orders
  • Goods Receipts
  • Service Entry Sheets
  • Invoice Verification
  • Vendor Management
  • Payment Processing
• Collaborate with business users to identify process improvement opportunities and implement procurement best practices.
• Support supplier onboarding, procurement workflows, and purchasing operations.
• Ensure seamless integration between procurement and finance processes.
• Perform functional testing, SIT, UAT support, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to procurement, invoice processing, and vendor transactions.
• Support invoice management and approval workflows using OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
• Work closely with Finance and Accounts Payable teams to ensure accurate invoice posting and payment processing.
• Prepare functional specifications, business process documentation, test scripts, and support runbooks.
• Provide ongoing support, system enhancements, and optimization of SAP P2P processes.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase procurement efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of SAP functional consulting experience with strong expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Deep understanding of procurement, purchasing, and vendor management business processes.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Purchase Requisitions
  • Purchase Orders
  • Goods Receipt Processing
  • Service Entry Processing
  • Invoice Verification
  • Vendor Management
  • Payment Processing
• Strong experience in SAP Materials Management (MM) configuration and functional support activities.
• Experience with OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
• Strong knowledge of business process analysis, requirement gathering, solution design, and process optimization.
• Experience supporting Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and production support activities.
• Knowledge of procurement workflows, invoice processing, and vendor lifecycle management.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
