SAP ABAP HR Consultant Job in Bangalore India :

Location: Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad

Company is looking for a skilled SAP ABAP HR Consultant with strong expertise in SAP HCM and ABAP development to support enterprise HR transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP HR modules, RICEF development, SuccessFactors integration, and SAP ABAP enhancements. This role requires collaboration with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver scalable and high-quality SAP HR solutions while ensuring adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support SAP ABAP HR solutions across various HR business processes.
  • Develop and maintain RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
  • Work extensively on SAP HCM modules such as Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (PT), and Payroll (PY).
  • Develop and enhance ABAP programs using Function Modules, BAPIs, BAdIs, User Exits, and Object-Oriented ABAP.
  • Create and maintain Smart Forms and Adobe Forms based on business requirements.
  • Support integration between SAP HCM and SuccessFactors (ECC/ECP Payroll).
  • Implement and troubleshoot employee data replication using Point-to-Point and BIB replication methods.
  • Analyze and resolve payroll processing and replication-related issues.
  • Develop technical solutions using CDS Views, OData Services, RFCs, and S/4HANA technologies.
  • Collaborate with functional teams for requirement gathering, design discussions, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Prepare technical specifications, design documents, and support documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with SAP coding standards, governance policies, and development best practices.
  • Provide production support and resolve critical business issues within SLA timelines.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP HR development.
  • Experience in at least two end-to-end SAP implementation projects.

  • Experience integrating SAP HCM with SuccessFactors (ECC/ECP Payroll).
  • Knowledge of employee data replication and payroll error troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to S/4HANA development concepts.
  • Experience with CDS Views, OData APIs, RFC development, and SAP Cloud Integration tools.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and production support.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
