Regional Manager Job in Kolkata India :

About the Role :

  • Lead and manage operations for the Eastern Region as Regional Manager – Sales & Marketing
  • Drive sales growth, manage service operations, and develop new business opportunities
  • Build strong client relationships while consistently meeting revenue and performance targets
  • Operate in a heavy engineering or equipment sales environment with strong technical and project exposure

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Eastern Region office operations
  • Lead and oversee both Sales and Service teams across the region
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive regional growth
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Achieve agreed revenue and market share targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Drive new business development in line with sales targets and budgets set by management
  • Personally lead sales efforts for key accounts and strategic customers
  • Ensure accurate compilation and reporting of operational and financial customer data
  • Prepare detailed sales plans, forecasts, and performance reports
  • Provide regular (daily) updates and MIS reports to the reporting manager
  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and prepare detailed sales and project proposals
  • Coordinate closely with project, service, and technical teams to ensure smooth execution

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Mandatory experience in Equipment Sales / Heavy Engineering Equipment industry
  • Strong exposure to project-based sales and solution selling
  • Technically sound, with the ability to understand drawings, specifications, and project requirements
  • Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines preferred)
  • Proven experience in regional sales and marketing management
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent business development and client relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and reporting abilities
  • Proven track record of meeting revenue targets and managing budgets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
