About the Role :

• Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of web applications and APIs across the product lifecycle
• Play a key role in driving quality through test automation and structured testing practices

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases
• Create and maintain test plans, strategies, and execution reports
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Test web applications and REST APIs for functionality, performance, and reliability
• Identify, log, and track defects through closure
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality-focused inputs
• Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks
• Ensure compliance with SDLC and STLC best practices
• Manage test scripts using version control systems

Key Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA and automation testing
• Strong proficiency in Python (mandatory)
• Experience in API and web application testing
• Good knowledge of SQL and database validation
• Strong understanding of REST APIs
• Experience with test documentation and reporting
• Familiarity with SDLC/STLC processes
• Hands-on experience with Git or similar version control tools
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
