Roles & Responsibilities

1. Manage and administer PROXY solutions in a 24/7 NOC environment
2. Handle incident, problem, service request, and change management for PROXY setup
3. Assist with day-to-day BAU and MACD configuration changes
4. Proactively monitor network infrastructure using monitoring tools to isolate events before service degradation
5. Support incident monitoring and incident analysis/response initiatives
6. Coordinate with users to resolve trouble tickets and troubleshoot OSI Model layers 1, 2, and 3
7. Apply security patches as required
8. Conduct daily performance checks, periodic audits, and compliance verification
9. Perform immediate troubleshooting for network outages as reported by users and operational personnel
10. Deploy and maintain access and security policies for PROXY solutions
11. Coordinate with OEMs for TAC support, RMA, replacement, and reconfiguration
12. Maintain device configuration backups as per agreed schedule

Ideal Candidate

1Strong Proxy / Network Security Profile with hands-on Proxy solution management

2Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 2+ years of overall network security experience, with at least 2 years managing Proxy solutions, including hands-on experience with Netskope.

3Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have experience in incident, problem, service-request, change, configuration, and capacity management of a Proxy setup, assisting with day-to-day BAU MACDs and configuration changes, and maintaining SLAs for incidents in the queue.

4Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have experience using network monitoring tools to isolate events before service degradation, supporting incident monitoring/response, resolving trouble tickets with users, and performing immediate troubleshooting for outages

5Mandatory (Tech skill 1): Must have proficiency in Proxy management across Windows, Linux, and Unix environments, with knowledge and understanding of policies and exceptions.

6Mandatory (Tech skill 2): Must have experience with packet capture, analysis, and troubleshooting tools across OSI Layers 1–3 (network, transport, session, presentation, application).

7Mandatory (Skill): Must have experience applying security patches, deploying/maintaining Proxy access and security policies, daily performance checks, audits/compliance, OEM coordination (TAC, RMA, reconfiguration), and scheduled config backups.

8Mandatory (Domain): Banking-industry experience preferred; strong candidates with the same technical experience from another industry are acceptable.

9Mandatory (Note): Must be comfortable with a 24/7 NOC rotational shift environment at the client site (IDFC Bank, Airoli, Navi Mumbai), able to work in a fast-paced

10Mandatory (Communication): Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with flexibility to learn and adapt.
