Senior Power BI developer job in Bangalore India :
Job location : Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Hybrid (Preference for candidates willing to work from the Bangalore office as required)
Company is seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join a global Banking & Financial Services engagement supporting business intelligence, analytics, and executive reporting initiatives.
The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in Microsoft Power BI while having working knowledge of Tableau or another leading BI platform. The role requires regular interaction with business stakeholders located in the United States; therefore, exceptional communication and consulting skills are essential.
Primary Responsibilities :
Design and develop enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and reports.
Gather business requirements directly from business users and stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
Develop reusable semantic models and optimized datasets.
Build interactive executive dashboards.
Optimize report performance and data refresh processes.
Write complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
Validate data quality and reporting accuracy.
Participate in requirement workshops with business stakeholders.
Provide production support and enhancement activities.
Follow enterprise data governance and security standards.
Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
Support UAT and deployment activities.
