Business Development Executive Job Kolkata India:
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with prospective students through calls, emails, and in-person interactions to understand their career goals, academic background, and preferences, and provide personalised guidance accordingly
- Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and unique value of MBA programs, including curriculum, faculty, industry exposure, and career opportunities
- Assist candidates throughout the admissions process by reviewing applications, collecting required documents, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of all formalities
- Provide accurate and updated information on admission criteria, course structure, specialisations, fees, scholarships, and financial aid options
- Build and maintain strong relationships with leads through regular follow-ups, trust-building, and continuous support during the decision-making journey
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to position programs effectively and handle objections confidently
- Collaborate with admissions, marketing, and academic teams to streamline processes, resolve queries, and improve enrolment strategies
- Maintain detailed records of student interactions, track conversions, and generate performance reports to evaluate and improve counselling effectiveness
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse candidates
- Positive attitude with adaptability in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities to understand student needs and recommend suitable solutions
