Assistant Manager – Human Resources Job in Mumbai India :
Company is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Human Resources to support and manage key HR functions across the employee lifecycle. This role requires a balance of operational efficiency, employee engagement, and strong coordination skills to help build a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
- Handle onboarding and exit formalities to ensure smooth employee transitions.
- Support HR operations including payroll coordination, attendance tracking, leave management, and compliance activities.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and grievance handling.
- Assist in performance management processes such as appraisals and feedback cycles.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR procedures.
- Drive employee engagement activities and workplace culture initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership teams on HR strategies and organizational development initiatives.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant HR experience.
- Strong understanding of HR operations and recruitment processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
