AGM – Business Development Job in Lucknow India :

Company is seeking an experienced Sales & Business Development professional in Power Trading to lead      regional sales initiatives for an energy management software platform catering to Open Access C&I     customers. The role involves end-to-end sales ownership for C&I customers, driving platform adoption,    revenue growth, and long-term customer value through effective stakeholder and regulatory engagement.     

Responsibilities :

      Lead regional Sales & Business Development for the energy management platform, managing the complete sales lifecycle including lead generation, solution pitching, commercial negotiations, closures, and onboarding of Open Access C&I customers.  Manage customer portfolios and drive regulatory liaisoning with Utilities, DISCOMs, and SERCs (State Electricity Regulatory Commission), ensuring smooth execution, compliance, platform adoption, and sustained customer value. 

 Drive end-to-end sales management for C&I customers, building strong relationships and positioning the software platform as a strategic energy management solution. 

 Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation, billing, settlements, and ongoing customer support. 

 Leverage hands-on experience with power trading tools and platforms to support customer requirements and optimize portfolio performance. 

 Ensure adherence to CERC (Central Electricity Regulatory Commission), SERC (State Electricity State Electricity Regulatory Commission), and power exchange regulations, staying updated on regulatory developments impacting Open Access transactions. 

 Apply a strong understanding of power trading strategies and portfolio management while operating effectively in a fast-paced, evolving market environment.
