Business Development Executive Job Kolkata India:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective students through calls, emails, and in-person interactions to understand their career goals, academic background, and preferences, and provide personalised guidance accordingly
  • Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and unique value of MBA programs, including curriculum, faculty, industry exposure, and career opportunities
  • Assist candidates throughout the admissions process by reviewing applications, collecting required documents, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of all formalities
  • Provide accurate and updated information on admission criteria, course structure, specialisations, fees, scholarships, and financial aid options
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with leads through regular follow-ups, trust-building, and continuous support during the decision-making journey
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to position programs effectively and handle objections confidently
  • Collaborate with admissions, marketing, and academic teams to streamline processes, resolve queries, and improve enrolment strategies
  • Maintain detailed records of student interactions, track conversions, and generate performance reports to evaluate and improve counselling effectiveness

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse candidates
  • Positive attitude with adaptability in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
