Assistant Manager – Human Resources Job in Mumbai India :

Company is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Human Resources to support and manage key HR functions across the employee lifecycle. This role requires a balance of operational efficiency, employee engagement, and strong coordination skills to help build a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
  • Handle onboarding and exit formalities to ensure smooth employee transitions.
  • Support HR operations including payroll coordination, attendance tracking, leave management, and compliance activities.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and grievance handling.
  • Assist in performance management processes such as appraisals and feedback cycles.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR procedures.
  • Drive employee engagement activities and workplace culture initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams on HR strategies and organizational development initiatives.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and recruitment processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
